Dr. Shorter is great, but the people in her office don't seem to have any idea what they are doing. In my single year of being a patient there, her office has sent me the wrong birth control (it would have resulted in me getting 30% more hormones if I had taken it) and not bothered to get my records from my previous doctor. The last straw was when I got a bill for $82 for a yearly well-woman visit, which I never had to pay for. I checked with Cigna and they confirmed that I shouldn't have gotten billed for this. I called Dr. Shorter's office repeatedly to follow up and see if this was a mistake, and eventually got them to re-submit the claim (after experience being interrupted, and having calls not returned). They admitted the mistake, but re-submitted the claim to Cigna with the exact same billing codes. I am never going back to that office.
Awesome Dr. who is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. She takes her time and listens in order to deliver excellence in health care. Lucky to have her on Cape.
