A must see Visitors Center when visiting on Cape Cod!!! (The Best!) Army Corps of Engineers lead staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of the Cape Cod Canal.
Interesting history of the canal. Reading and looking at everything takes about 30 minutes. Children's activities will keep them busy/interested. Fun to sit outside and watch the boat traffic in the canal and people fishing.
A great place for family, friends and groups to gather. Be sure to check out boardwalk as well. Great place to relax and enjoy.

Small museum, but features a live map of the marine vassals and a wonderful presentation from a knowledgeable staff member. Great place to learn some history and marvel at the modern tech.
Interesting museum of the Coast Guard and the construction of the Cape Cod Canal, next to the actual canal. We saw a tugboat pushing a barge that was bigger than any I've seen. Beautiful site.
