Great sandwiches on wonderful bread. Pastries look amazing. A nice place for breakfast or lunch, very casual and staff very friendly.
The cranberry bread on "The Puritan" sandwich was the perfect fit. There was a goodly amount of meat and the lettuce was fresh and crisp.
My wife had the haddock chowder and really enjoyed it, with a giant chunk of fish even in the last spoonful!
Such a welcoming shop. They were just about to close and waited for us to drink our tea and eat our delicious cookies. We were very appreciative given it was a cold, rainy day. They even gave us tips on sights to see in the town. Thanks so much!
The peppermint scone was wonderful and was served with jam AND CLOTTED CREAM (something I haven't found since my last time in the UK 20+ years ago)!!

Great place for a quick meal. Great bakery item. Cozy inviting. Comfortable place to eat alone or just enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Staff friendly. Nobody rushing you out the door.
